Itinerary description
A circular walk around the highest hill in the Algarve.
Parking at the summit, head towards the radio masts. Where the road forks before the masts; ignore the smooth road to the left, take the righthand track. This is because you descend a steeper track and then slowly regain the altitude.
It can be cooler up there; yet take plenty of water in hot weather. There is just one spring: halfway around the route. For a more in-depth review, check out my website: https://routestorelax.com/trilho-da-foia-highest-mountain-in-the-algarve-walk/
