Itinerary description
Trail leading onto the top of the hill to the mirador Boa Vista and down to Praia Galheta . You can continue to Praia Mole and from there take a bus back to Barra de la Lagoa or into the other direction to Lagoa da Conceição.
The trail starts on the other side of the bridge in Barra do Lagoa. Go right and follow the small walkway until there is a sign pointing up the hill “Trail 2007”. Here you go left until the stairs where you have to turn right following a steep and narrow path through the Mata Atlántica - Atlantic rainforest.
The plants get lower the higher you climb. So you will have stunning views over the peninsula with views to the Lagoa da Conceição on one side and the Atlantic beaches on the other side.
Watch your feet as there could be snakes on the trail. Bring plenty of water and sunscreen.
