Itinerary description
This path gives fabulous views over Tyros Bay and the beaches of Tigani and Pera Tigani. It is at first a fairly flat well built path out to the end of the headland. It becomes more difficult for a short time as you turn the headland and you should be careful on the rocks especially if it is wet. The path then becomes easier underfoot and climbs upwards with views down to Avlaki beach. There is one steep climb in the middle of this section and then it undulates into the olive grove in the saddle of the hill.
Follow the red markers for Tyros and the path slowly descends to a cement road and back to the parking area. The way back gives panoramic views to the mountains surrounding Tyros and glimpses to the north to Zaritsi beach and Arkadiko Horio.

The track consists of three parts. An easy walk for the first third, a comparatively steep path uphill over rugged terrain for the second third, and a not overly challenging descent back to the starting point. Given the second part uphill, I’d discourage to do this trail on a wet day. It’s going to be rather slippery then. Views of the sea are nice, otherwise I’d say there are more beautiful hiking opportunities in the Tyros area.
