Second day of the route.
We will start by touring the entire Dolina Triglavkih Jezer valley visiting the rest of the lakes on the 7 Lakes route. We start the walk surrounded by forests that, as we climb, will change to grasses and stones. The climb is gentle but steady until we detour to visit the Zasavska koĉa shelter, which only takes us 45 minutes to walk. It is well worth it for the views of the Alps it has. When we are there we are lucky enough to witness the refueling by helicopter. The icing on the cake!!!
From here we can see the lakes Jezero v Laštah (dry) and Jezero pod Vršacem.
We pass by the last lake, Rjavo jezero and from here, a steep and stony climb will take us to the Hribarice Pass.
We will go down to the Koĉa na Domica shelter along a path well marked by small stone screeds but without much difficulty if you follow the indications of the dots and arrows.
There is no potable water all the way, so you have to be foresight and bring some or have drinking tablets.
The shelter has no showers or drinking water. It must be bought bottled.
The refuge keeper is very friendly and will tell you what you need to know about the climb to Triglav with photos and whatever else you need. And if you get confused, he will ask you for help to do some work. The drum platform in front of the shelter was made with our collaboration.
If you make it, tell me if you liked it or if something needs to be changed. Thanks!!
Health and legs!!!
