Itinerary description

3rd leg of the Triglav National Park loop starting from Bohinj Lake, passing through the Triglav summit and arriving at the other end of Bohinj Lake. The climb and especially the descent of the Triglav are classified "reserved for experts" because they may require safety equipment (helmet mandatory given the attendance and stony terrain, harnesses and via ferrata lanyards recommended for certain serviced portions or evolves on nails planted on the cliff), do not suffer from vertigo and have a secure foot. The Dolicu - Prehodavic portion poses only a technical difficulty: a vertical chimney of 15m equipped under the top of Kanjavec, after the crossing of a neve on pebbles.
There are many possibilities to lengthen, modify or shorten the loop, get the Triglav 1/25000 map (Sidarta, available in mountain shops (Iglu in the center of Ljubljana or at the Nova Jarse shopping center near City Park) , the Bled tourist office or shelters.
