Itinerary description
Parked just off the Old Blackwood road, the trail we took had a yellow painted star picket at its beginning. The track was an overall easy walk except for one section of fallen trees, had to bush bash this section but picked up the track again on the other side of the creek.
The walk was a mixture of good bush tracks, dirt roads and gravel roads.
The bush around this area is quite beautiful and has some giant gums, it's a pity that the storms earlier in the year flattened so many trees, even whole hillsides.
Some of the trails have had some chainsaw work done on the fallen trees.
