Starting from Triglav Camp, the first 8 kilometers are through the forest. Very nice This part has a constant gradient. To get to the junction leading to the refuge, we come out of the forest and we are around 1600 meters. From there there are two options; first, go up to the refuge, and, second, take the path that goes down to the other valley. From the refuge you can see Triglav and several other mountains of the mountain range. It is a beautiful view that can be seen from the refuge. From there you can go up to Triglav (5 hours more). We reached the refuge in 3 hours.
