Today is the first day of trekking of the five routes that we are going to take through New Zealand. Today in the morning we have taken a bus that brings us closer to the starting point, from the bus we are already seeing how beautiful the landscape is.
In Marahui there is the reception center with a wooden bar where we have breakfast. At the starting point there are some information panels, the path starts at sea level and little by little it gets into the coastal forest, since the forest is dense we always go for shade and we have a very good sun, but This forest does not prevent us from always seeing the ocean with turquoise blue tones, we decided to go down on one of the beaches to eat something.
Here in some beaches you can camp, they have water and services, everything is still very calm and with incredible colors we return to the path. We went up and down lush hills along the coast.
On the beaches we usually see people with canoes, in this area it is very common to see them doing routes of several days, on the roads we find ferns that are as big as trees. The path is very well marked and before reaching our first refuge we stop at a viewpoint from which you can see Adele Island.
The arrival at the Anchorage refuge was very beautiful, the refuge is very good, next to the beach, modern and with a large office-kitchen with solar lighting.

Bones! He vist que tens una experiència brutal amb uns quants great walks de NZ! Alguna recomanació de quins fer? I vaig ara a l'abril i volia triar el millor possible. Moltissimes gràcies! :)
Disfrutalo
