Itinerary description
This trek route starts from chowk bus stand, crosses Chowk railway station, Nanivali village, Irshalwadi, Arkaswadi, Umbernewadi and reaches the actual Pisarnath temple in a small cave about 80 m below the lords point. The way to Matheran from the temple goes through a treacherous gully climb and reaches the modern pisarnath temple constructed near charlotte lake. This trail proceeds to echo point and culminates at Dasturi Car park after via the Matheran Narrow gauge rail tracks.
NOTE: Rocks fall in the gully during heavy rains, so avoid this route if its windy & raining.
Endurance: High.
