Trek spectacular that we were lucky to do it almost without people and taking advantage of the heat of the people of the villages of Markha Valley.
This Trek we did in the summer of 2010
We did it with a couple of Toulousse that we were separated by a stomach problem with heavy fever.
We left Leh with a Taxi and in 2 hours we were planted in Spituk.
The first day we made the Spituk-Yurutse stage, crossing the Indus River with a very authentic tirolina.
The second day, the Yurutse-Markha stretch, following the Markha River, with many riverside steps.
The Third Day - Markha-Nimaling
The fourth day-Nimaling making the Coll de Kongmaru-la de 5150 meters to the village of Hemis that could be exploited to see the beautiful monastery
We had a scare since we hurried one day and crossed the river markha afternoon and the fickleness was pronounced and in a crossing of this it almost took off. It was better to do it in the morning until noon and it rained value it well.
In Nimaling for being too fast that stage I suffered bad height and with a blow from Ginger Tea and my head up I could spend the night but with a lot of headache.

wow, did you walk for three days? This is so tough but really amazing place..
Hola,
