Itinerary description
Starting the journey in the carpark of Lago Antorno, after 600 mt follow the track 101 in the middle of the woods, crossing a tiny river and a valley to get again after 3 km on the road which you can cross to go on in the 101 path for 1 more km reaching Rifugio Auronzo. Quick break to go on following the main path on the side of the valley after Rifugio Auronzo, you’ll see a little church, keep walking and you will see an other rifugio half wooden half rocky called Rifugio Lavaredo. Up the crest to go in the other valley which would allow to go to Rifugio Locatelli but we stopped half way to enjoy the wonderful view of those 3 huge rocks called 3 CIME DI LAVAREDO. Back route by the same way, next time round trip will be done.
