Itinerary description
O acesso a essa travessia se dá pela Rua Timboaçu na Freguesia. A parte inicial é de difícil orientação com o capinzal alto obstruindo alguns trechos. O traçado da trilha só fica bem evidente quando alcançamos a Transcarioca.
Só não aconselho no final da Travessia a seguir a escadaria até a Rua, pois a trilha dá de encontro a um portão trancado com cadeado.
No meio da escadaria/mureta sai à direita uma trilha bem evidente que conduz até o Parque Estadual do Grajaú.

Easy to follow
Scenery
Very difficult
Unfortunately i could only reach the first 2 km of this trail with great difficulty as the forest is completely overgrown with ferns, foilage, branches everywhere, spiders, cobwebs at every steps. After so many scratches from the forest on my legs and arms I decided to turn back (march 2024). Don‘t attempt this hike unless you have a machete to clear the forest..
