Itinerary description
I hiked most of trail 9 the trail 10 and returned on 9 then took trail 1 to fire tower and back to inn. Fire tower has great view of river and is not to be missed. Failed to start this app at beginning of trail 9 and forgot to stop until I was inside of inn. Trail 9 is listed as moderate. The section I did from the inn was easy. The latter part has a hill and might be considered moderate. But I skipped that part and turned back at the bridge over a creek. Trail 10 is listed as easy but I think if you do the whole thing it should be listed as moderate. If you cut out the hilly part in the middle by taking the Utility Connector Trail in the middle of 10, then 10 is easy. But I’m no expert on ranking trails. Also, there is a shortcut between 9 and 10 that is an option. Hiked in 2-4 inches of snow. Some standing water covered in thin ice that made me glad I wore boots.
