Hi Yashwant,
Is the first ascent section till the summit plateau ( appx 5 kms length ) loose rocks or steady terrain ?
I understand it is steep up, can it be done up and down back same way ?
I am considering 5 kms up and 5 kms down.
Please advise. Thank you.
Hi, its not loose rock. The trail is marked so should be ok both ways. Few points are quite exposed. You have to be careful.
We followed your trail and successfully completed the Hike today in early May.
Due to logistics issues, we divided your trail in 2 parts.
We hiked Jebel Haat plateau part separately and W8 part from Bald Sayt separately.
Both are recorded on my Profile.
