Gjendehøe

Beautiful route which we walked counter clock wise. We had trouble finding the track in the middle of the route, where we had to make a almost 180 degree turn. So we just tried to follow the track as it was displayed on our Garmin and eventually we found the path. So maybe it's better to walk the route clockwise , which perhaps makes it easier to find the path in this section. We parked the car on the small parking next to the road.

Always take a backpack with the following items. Jacket and trousers for rain protection, first aid kit, extra shirt and socks, enough water, a fleece jacket , sunburn cream. And wear good shoes.
And during this route use anti mosquito spray. Spray every part before you leave, also the parts which are covered with clothes. Don't forget to spray you ankles, because if they get swollen by a mosquito bite you have a problem walking a trail the next day.
