Itinerary description
We parked the car near Ain Aabal (water source) and started the hike up hill towards Chahtoul village on a paved road. The area is beautiful and very remote so we barely crossed couple of cars. We passed by Saidet El Kalaa and the track continues with very nice scenery till we reached an awesome point of view over looking the village of Haiyatah, the valleys and mountains till the Mediterranean. After that we followed a very narrow trail going uphill. It was night and at some points we lost the track but found it again. On your way you see abandoned old houses. The hike was tricky a bit at night because several times the trail wasn't that obvious but overall I loved it and definitely recommend it. It was a moderate to difficult sunset hike.
