Itinerary description
I parked the car between Qsaybeh and Kneisseh village and directly left the asphalt and took the dirt road going uphill.
The road takes you up 150 m in around 1.6 km
Easy to moderate walk and the area is mainly covered with pine trees.
Once at the top, you have a lovely view over the Metn area and the villages around you (Broumana, Baabdat, Arbaniyeh ...)
On your descent the dirt road dissappears and you will be following a small trail. You will pass by agricultural roads the more you get near Qsaybeh village.
At 4.15 km from starting point, you will get to the first house in the village. You can either stay on the asphalt road and close the loop earlier or take your left and go down the stairs.
I took the stairs and decided to explore the village.
You will pass by the beautiful Monastry of Santa Veronica. Take your time to visit the place and be prepared to buy some of the nuns' product (kebbeh la2tin is a must)
From there. I continued on the asphalt road leaving the town towards Kneysseh and closing the loop.
It was a pleasant Sunday hike, and the trail is easy to follow.
