Itinerary description
The trail starts and ends at the Triberg railway station. It mainly follows a so called Panoramaweg, marked with yellow diamond. The trail goes through forest and village, both on asphalt and dirt roads, at times on a wide path, and only on a fraction of way on a narrow path.
At km 4.1 I left the Panoramaweg to do a detour to Schonach to see the biggest cuckoo clock in the world (it cost 2 euros). Then I rejoined the Panoramaweg next to Bergsee, at km 6. After seeing the Triberg waterfall (at the time of visit a 5 euro ticket) I left the Panoramaweg again (km 7.7) to go down to the town of Triberg. I rejoined the end of the Panoramaweg on Rigiweg (km 9.4).
