Itinerary description
Starting from Refuge de Laval, the route climbs gently at first then climbs steeply towards Lac des Beraudes.
Climbing out above the lake the path is fairly narrow and continues to climb.
The col itself is quite steep and rocky, with cables to help, although there is never much exposure.
Descending towards Lac de Ponsonnière before climbing slightly to reach Col de la Ponsonnière. Moderate difficulty.
Finally descend to Lac de Cerces.
