Itinerary description
We started from Feydey, last train station of a track that departs from Leysin. We went up to Mayen to do the trail "Tour de Mayen". It goes up to the summit, at a height of about 2300 m. Before reaching the top, there's a cave that goes down the mountain. It's entrance is next to a small lake that has the shape of the dignity (a The Simpson's reference to Milhouse father...).
From the top you can enjoy a magnificent view of the alps (and some pre-alps), the eastern part of Lac Leman (Montreaux), Lac l'Hongrin with its dam, and the distant great Moléson.
