Itinerary description
Tour de l'Argentine counterclockwise
Parking at Solalex. From the parking follow white-red-white trail to la Vare. At each trail crossing, take the path to your left :)
Duration: 4h
Conditions: sunny but in November half the time you are in the shadows of l'Arête de l'Argentine or of the massif du Grand Muveran, some frost, no snow, no ice
Difficulty: T3 (on the easy end of the spectrum)
In some other write-ups I've seen people indicating that there were cables/chains on this trail - I haven't seen any, nor I've seen the need. The only place that may turn out tricky in rainy conditions is the steep-ish, exposed finish of the traverse SW of the Lion d'Argentine to Sur Champ. It is in the shadow, if it gets bad it stays bad for a time. But it is very short.
