Itinerary description

This is a short hike from parking area #4 out the trail/road marked "Beehead Ranch Tr." to the junction of trail/road marked "Bear-head Gap Tr." and at the end of that going into the brush for a short distance to connect to the blazed orange Florida Trail and back to the parking area. If you have GPS it should work fine, if you don't wish to try to find the Florida Trail you can stay on the Bear-Head Gap Trail and loop back to the Beehead Ranch Trail and out. While in the area of the junction of the two trails/roads you will be near where the original Beehead Ranch was located (it has been moved to the Ft Christmas Historical Park). You will see some fence posts etc from the old ranch. If you do some exploring, who knows what you will come up with. There is a GEOCache in the area if you are into that.
Please take nothing but photos (and trash) and leave nothing but footprints.
