Itinerary description
Day 1 (22km): Trekking from the Lodge Paine Grande to the Grey Glacier lookout, returning to the lodge.
Day 2 (12km): Trekking from the Lodge Paine Grande to the Domes Frances (new in the park). As we arrived early at the domes, we spent an hour at the spectacular Nordenskiöld lake.
Day 3 (17km): Trekking through the French Valley until the Britânico lookout, returning to the domes to catch the backpacks and then going to the Refugio Los Cuernos. This was the toughest day for us.
Day 4 (13km): Trekking from Refugio Los Cuernos to the Refugio El Chileno.
Day 5 (15km): Trekking to the Torres del Paine lookout, returning to the Refugio after, catching the backpacks and then going to the Refugio Las Torres (not the Hotel), where we caught a bus to Laguna Amarga.
Total: 79km, but it is worth every meter :)
