Itinerary description

This hike starts at Campamento El Chileno. One first follows the Ascencio river until taking a left turn towards Mirador las Torres. The toughest part of the whole W trail is just immediately before arriving at the Mirador las Torres. The rest of the track involves retracing the route until Campamento el Chileno, continuing along the Ascencio Valley until arriving bridge which crosses the river, then heading east to the Refugio Torres Central.

If you want to enjoy the Mirador las Torres in solitude, make sure you head out early to beat the day trippers since this is the only section of the W where day hikers are found in large numbers.
