Itinerary description
This section starts at Refugio Paine Grande. At the Campamento Italiano it is possible to leave the backpacks at the ranger's office. The climb to the Mirador Frances is steep and it is moderately difficult because one walks over the moraine, which has rocks of all sizes. After collecting the backpacks, it is a short 2km hike to the Campamento El Frances.
