Itinerary description
The most tedious day of the Trek W hiked in four days. It begins with the 5.5km (about 2h) long hike from the Cuernos camping to the Italiano camping, with backpacks. One can leave the main luggage at Italiano and continue in Valle Frances with small bags. 6km long hike to the Britanico constitutes the main elavation gain of the day (650m). It takes about 5hours to reach the Britanico and return to the Italiano. The final section is a 7.8km long hike (with backpacks) to the camping Paine Grand. It's a long day, but fortunately the last section is very easy.
