Itinerary description
Torres del Paine is one of the most popular trek destinations in Chile and "W" is the most popular trek there. This is a description of this trek done in reverse order - starting from glacier Grey and finishing at the Torres. Doing it this way makes it slightly easier, allows you to witness the Torres during the sunrise and put a pressure on you on the last day to catch a ferry which goes only once a day.
Day 4, Las Torres: They say that seeing the torres during sunrise is once-in-a-lifetime experience, however more often than not the torres are covered with clouds during the early morning hours... Anyway if you are willing to take the chance get up early and climb to the torres (takes around an hour to get there). After witnessing a cloudy sunrise, return to the camp and take on an easy stroll (although with all your gear) to the parking of the Las Torres hotel. There you can catch a bus back to the park entrance.
