Spectacular route that runs through the domains of "Mordor" (The Lord of the Rings).
The route begins in the parking lot and little by little it goes into and goes up towards the domains of Mount Tongariro.
It runs through very varied terrain such as bogs, precipices, active volcanoes, craters, snow, volcanic rock, etc.
If it is done in winter, there will probably be some snow-covered route.
It is located within an area of high volcanic activity occurring the last episode in 1997.
Highly recommended to spend a long and full day of strong emotions, nature and physical exercise.
