Itinerary description
Big adventure!
Start by boat from Ha‘apai. 4-5 drive, then go on land and follow the track.
Normally nobody lives on the island, sometimes there are farmers there.
The difficult part is the weather on the sea, to find a boat and get on land.
Close to the top is an antenna, that’s why there is a very small footpath.
Times:
4-5 hours drive by boat from Ha’apai to Kao island.
5-7 hours hiking trail.
4-7 hours return drive by boat.
Costs:
1700 Tonga-dollar boat
