Itinerary description
The CAI n° 250 starts in Peri and go all the way to Campofontana., in ca 13h
My track starts in Tommasi and skip the path around Corno d'Aquilio, this saves you 2h (+ 2,5h going up from Peri which is very tough). The first part is on asphalt and gravel, through a forest of latifolias. You reach Passo Fittanze in ca 1.45min, coffee break and then off to Castelberto. I choose the longer, nicer and more shadowed route. Follow the green/white signes "Castelberto", direction Malga Maia - Malga Lavachio - Revoltel.
If you want to shorten you go through the valley (keep straight instead of going to Malga Coe di Ala), follow my track. Very geological and historical views.
We jumped Castelberto and went straight to the crossroad to Podesteria/Tomba/Bocca di Selva
On your left follow the path in the grass (no signs, but follow my track) and the just follow the red/white signs CAI 250). This is much more nicer path than following the gravel road under. Lovely views all the way.
Carega, Monte Roite, Gruppo del Brenta, Monte Baldo, Monte Stivo, Monte Bodone....
