Itinerary description

This hike goes from the accommodation 'The Four Pines' south and through beautiful forest.

There are no trail markings for the majority of the hike. A couple of times you will see I went around in circles a bit because I lost the trail I was following. At one or two points I had to backtrack to avoid walking on private farming property.

But you will find this is a beautiful walk.

Both property owners saw me and waved - they didn't have a problem with hikers. Alternatively you could try going straight along the dirt road (which then goes a bit to the right) until you are parallel with the house with the pitched roof and then cut across behind it to the left until you rejoin the trail.

You need to cross the little dry creek bed to do this
