Itinerary description

The start of this trail is accessed from Long Lake Road where several good hikes are available. There was some roadside parking available and a sign was posted at our chosen start point. The trail went past a large beaver pond, through mixed forest and had generally good footing. While the hike is up to a scenic lookout the inclines were all very reasonable and manageable. At the top there were numerous small oak trees, seemingly quite old but really small for their age.... anyone with info on these please post below... I haven't seen oaks like that before.
