Itinerary description
I have done the complete Tour de Mont Blanc anti clockwise in ten stages. All ten stages are named “TMB Stage x – From - To” if you are interested in all of them.
Day 1. Charmonix – Bionnassay
Day 2. Bionnassay – Nant Borrand
Day 3. Nant Borrand – Les Chapieux
Day 4. Les Chapieux – La Fodze
Day 5. La Fodze – Courmayeur - Lavachey
Day 6. Lavachey – Ferret
Day 7. Ferret – Val D’Arpette
Day 8. Val D’Arpette – Trient
Day 9. Trient – Le Tour
Day 10. Le Tour – Chamonix
Same way down as up yesterday heading for Bionnassay and further to La Champei. Here we missed the waymarks so we ended up i Le Quite and had to climb quite a tough one back to Le Tranchet and then to Chalets de Miage where we had a great lunch break with a spectacular view.
A rest is a good idea as there is quite a climb up to Chalets du Truc and from here down to Les Contamines - walk down to the river and turn left following it through a large recreation park, just to round the day off with a tough climb up to Nant Borrand. A great refuge with tasty beer and lovelt views of the Mountains.
Make sure you have reservation here - going back down is not the best idea.
