Itinerary description
The original route to Everest called the Reconnaissance, 1921 taken by George Mallory. Its a rather flat rout, but at that altitude, nothing is light except the thin air. It took us two nights, many stream crossings, a hail storms, a landslide to make it to the Everest basecamp.
