Itinerary description
Tilla Jogian is the highest hill in the Jhelum river. Perched on top of the hill lies Hindu an abandoned Hindu temple. Worth visiting for history lovers.
To reaching the place, you have to take GT road. The road to the trailhead is perfect and can easily be accessed on any vehicle. You can not take the express way for track as you have to take the road for the village from the GT road.
The track overall is well maintained and has little steps made of lose rocks. The trail head is not too hard to find. Preferably do this track during winters as it can get get hot here. Mid of March would be the last time for this track.
About the views? I would say they are amazing. You can see from the pictures that it offers views of the area and Jehlum river can easily be seen from the top.
The ruins are not well maintained. The main temple is covered in bushes and can't be accessed easily.
Watch out from wasps in the area. Some trees have a lot of wasps so avoid the area I makes as risk.
