Itinerary description
This is the highest point of Margalla approached through Loh e Dandi. There are several different tracks that lead to this place, the shortest one from the top. To reach the trailhead, use Careem Uber because you would have to park the car at Bari Imam which I wouldn't suggest.
The initial part was concrete trek till Chilla Gah. However, the views are still. From there it had fire line and goes upto a junction. On the left you can go to Bruti and on the right the track leads to Tilla Jogian. Take the right track and head towards the New Monal top.
The track Tilla Jogian can be a bit difficult to find, so try not to unfollow the track I have recorded. There are chances you might go back on the trail that goes to Quad E Azam University or try ascending directly and get yourself hurt from bushes and thorns.
The top of Tilla has a rangers checkpost with a large antenna. Signals are available on the top for some reason. On the top, you can see Islamabad and Gokina Valley.
To reach back home, you can either route my QAU trails, take taxi from new Monal, or take the Bruti trail I made.
I have made another track from Bruti.
