Itinerary description
An easy 9k ascent, starting from the tarmac road near Adigrat. The main section is now on a gravel road where there is a bit of traffic unfortunately of the trekkers but this is obviously good for the local communities. It might also be good for trekkers with mobility issues as a car can drop them at K6 where there is only K2.5 of easy trail to the community guest house. Anyway, these last km are really nice and not very steep as you go along the escarpment with great views. the view from the GH is stunning!
