Itinerary description
Ayer Itam Dam ▶️ Lian Jiao Yuan Entrance ▶️ Iron Cross ▶️ Tiger Hill ▶️ Ayer Itam Dam
General Information:
🚩 Located at Ayer Itam Dam, Penang
🚩 Level of Difficulty: Moderate 5/10
🚩 Bring 1.5 litre of water
🚩 Start and ended at Ayer Itam Dam.
🚩 Tiger Hill Peak 755 meter. No tiger here, no worry.
Trail Info:
✴️ Ayer Itam Dam car park to Lian Jiao Yuan （连蕉园） entrance took 25 minutes. All is concrete road.
✴️ From here direct to Iron Cross, about 70 minutes. Will pass by RG 35 on your right.
✴️ At Iron Cross (5 junction) turn right to Tiger Hill. About 20 minutes to reached junction. Turn right upslope to Peak took an hour. Will pass by RG 29.
✴️ Spend an hour for lunch break at Tiger Hill Peak. Enjoy my Nasi Tomato with Ayam Merah with Ribena.
✴️ After the break, descend to Ayer Itam Dam until reaching RG 28. Took about 100 minutes. From here to junction another 10 minutes.
✴️ After reached junction, walk back to Ayer Itam Dam carpark. Pass thru playground, dam and RG ??. Another half an hour.
✴️ The whole loop for today took about 6 hours include an hour lunch break and searching for rain gauge with total distance 12KM ++.
