Itinerary description

Partenza dal parcheggio di Thumel, si segue la strada asfaltata e poi il sentiero n. 13 per un pezzo. Poi si prosegue sulla carrabile che segue il corso del torrente sulla destra. Arrivati alle cascate ed al ponticello, si cambia versante e si prosegue sino al rifugio. La passeggiata risulta essere abbastanza facile e in piano, solo due o tre tratti prendono quota repentinamente. Il rifugio è molto bello, tipico di montagna con spazi ristretti. Ottima cucina e vista spettacolare sul Granta Parey. Il ritorno si effettua percorrendo la stessa strada.

Departure from the Thumel car park, follow the asphalt road and then the path n. 13 for one piece. Then continue on the driveway that follows the course of the stream on the right. Once you reach the waterfalls and the bridge, change sides and continue to the refuge. The walk turns out to be quite easy and flat, only two or three stretches suddenly rise. The refuge is very beautiful, typical of the mountains with narrow spaces. Excellent cuisine and a spectacular view of the Granta Parey. The return is carried out along the same road.
