Itinerary description
I started this hike from a guesthouse, which was a little more than 2km north of Theth center. The trip would be almost 4.5km shorter if you start from the center.
I wanted to avoid car traffic along the main road on the west side of the river, so opted to take the path on the east side instead. Very easy hike if you just follow the path along the river until you cross the bridge to Ndelysaj. There are a few places the road splits, but it seems like in most cases they meet again (except maybe the waypoint to Ndelysaj), so you can't go too far off as long as you keep heading towards the river.
I enjoyed the walk more than the actual Blue Eye. There's no entry fee and there are some places to buy food and drinks, but not much to do. I didn't go in the water because the people who were jumping in said it was freezing cold and were visibly shaking as they came out, but feel free!

Stay to the right if you can. I initially went left here as the path to the right was flooded for a portion, but found a way to connect back down.

Great trail, there's not much information but you don't need it with that scenery
