Itinerary description
This hike is an out-and-back from the Berlin Fish Hatchery trail head which is shared with the Bunnell Notch trail head. The first mile is marshy & wet (bring a dry pair of socks, just in case) but once it begins to climb it drys out quickly. The trail is largely fern & moss-covered - more like VT than NH - with few views, but still has a charm by itself. Because it's an out-and-back you end up climbing a total of 5 peaks in order to count 2 and there's a substantial bump between North and South Weeks which I've way-pointed as Middle. About 12 miles overall.

Thanks for the track. Did this one 9/ 7/14. Kind of boring with no views but at least it was an easy 2 peak check off for NEHH. Coming back i bushwacked across that long needless switchback south of N. Weeks.
