Itinerary description
An easy to moderate trail, which could easily be done in an hour if you did not want to stop repeatedly for the wildflowers, forest scenes and the views to the north. The footpath varies between a forestry trail that has at times accommodated vehicles to a narrower path. This trail meanders through woodland and meadow.
It is likely you'll meet a few cows and some domestic dogs on the early and final section of the trail. There is barbed wire in sections but if you look carefully, you will find that deliberate means to open the fencing have been incorporated. The woodland is presently being refreshed by a pro-forest environmental group.
