Een wandeling naar de top van de Cerro De Sao Miguel. Deze wandeling begint niet ver van Moncarapacho. Je parkeert de auto net na dat je de A22 bent over gereden. Het begin van de wandeling gaat over een mooi wandelpad langs de A22. Daarna kom je op een kleine weg uit en na ongeveer 1km sla je linksaf een wandelpad in. Hier begint de klim. Het laatste stukje naar de top is het zwaarste (stijle klim). Maar op de top heb je een prachtig uitzicht! De afdaling kan via de weg of via de mountainbike paden. Deze wandeling is niet heel lang maar soms wel behoorlijk stijl. In de winter kunnen de paden aan de noord kant behoorlijk glad worden dus houd daar rekening mee..

A walk to the top of the Cerro De Sao Miguel. This walk starts not far from Moncarapacho. You park the car just after you have crossed the A22. The start of the walk is on a footpath along the A22. Then you come out on a small road and after about 1km you turn left into a footpath. This is where the climb begins. The last part to the top is the hardest (steep climb). But at the top you have a beautiful view! The descent can be done by road or by mountain bike trails. This walk is not very long but sometimes quite steep. In winter the paths on the north side can get quite slippery so keep that in mind.

Wij, John en Leon hebben deze wandeling gisteren gelopen. Prachtige vergezichten, soms best steil maar we hebben het gered!
