Itinerary description
Bad weather which involved some rain but very strong winds made it too risky to hike from Glungezer to Lizumer hut. Instead, I went down to the Glungezer cable car and descended back to the valley. From there I hiked to Vatens in the forest and along some nice streams. At vatens I took a taxi to the trailhead near the military camp and hiked all the way up to Lizumer hut. The hiking Neto was 23 km.
