Itinerary description

It's a great hike, technically varying and really scenic. It starts by the Wu Kai Sha MTR station. The first few hundred metres are in the town and the proper trail starts after you pass the Ma On Shan bypass. The first two kilometers are really steep, with 650m elevation gain over 2.2km hike. There will be a sign telling you that the trail is dangerous but there are no really dangerous sections there, it's just steep and quite narrow in few places on the ridge. But unless it's wet or raining, you'll be fine.
Once you reach the first summit (the actual Hunch Backs), the nature of the trail changes and the next few kilometers are rather hilly than steep. The trail becomes technically very easy, especially on the section which overlaps with the MacLehose Trail. This section of the trail is perfectly signed, and very are great views on Sai Kung. Pyramid Hill is the main summit on this section
My trail leaves the MacLehose Trail at the Sha Tin Pass and continues to Kowloon. It ends at the Wong Tai Sin MTR station.
