Itinerary description
From the Bretaye station, follow the track on the side of Grand Chamossaire that goes to the upper cablecar station of the Roc d'Orsay. Go down the track in the little Orsay valley to get to the Col d'Argnaule. Then follow the ridge to a place called Peret and take the path that descends, sometimes rather steeply, to Truche. Once you get to Truche continue along the line of the ridge. When you get to the water tank take the path to the right that goes to the first houses at Ecovets. You end up on a very steep tarmac road. At the end of this road there is a little path on the left. You take this, and you are on the Chavasses path that leads directly to the resort of Villars.
