The Caronia Mill

This proposal, easy practicability, will allow tourists to enjoy traditional rural landscapes of Nebrodi, beautiful views, interesting natural features, and, at the end of the walk, in correspondence to an old mill, to see all his

Nebrodi, beautiful views, interesting natural features, and, at the end of the walk, in correspondence to an old mill, to see all his characteristic elements (tank, ramp, grinders, blades) and enjoy the spectacular views. The route runs near Caronia River, through a wild landscape with rugged slopes, interesting lush vegetation and particular elements of rural traditions. In correspondence of the Mill can be appreciated the ancient erosive action of water, which affected and shaped the steep and rocky slopes that make up the throat named "Passo del Corvo." The Mill, currently contracted out to the Association I Nebrodi, dates back to 1863 and It worked only for a limited period. Thanks to a project by the Nebrodi Park, all typological and formal elements which have allowed the operation have been renoved. When you arrive
