Itinerary description
Wonderful trail to the most iconic limestone hill in the Burren National Park - Mullaghmore. Excellent views on the flat karstic landscape, with loads of songbirds and some wading birds on the way. For those of you who enjoy the occasional fossil hunt, there is plenty of animal remnants from Carboniferous period mostly crinoids, corals, and brachiopods. The official trail offers a circular walk around the hilltop, the path is easy to follow.
