Itinerary description

This Nanaimo area hike is 4.14 Km. long and takes about 1 1/2 hours. Park along Harewood Mines Road and take the trail by the Interpretive display. Take the stairs to the right and keep to the right at the top of the stairs. The Abyss is 20- 25 minutes along the trail but you can continue along the ridge for views of Nanaimo and the Sunshine Coast.
