Itinerary description
Hornatær consists of four peaks:
1- Ýsufell (703 m)
2- Breiðafell (747 m)
3- Klakkur (699 m)
4- Ármannsfell (706 m)
To the south we can see Vatnsfjörður.
The lake Helluvatn.
The Highlands of the south
Flatey island and the rest of the islands in Breiðafjörður. On the horizon behind them, we can see Snejfellsnes peninsula and the iconic Snæfellsjökull volcano.
Lónfell to the other side of the road
Arnarfjörður
The high peaks of the alps of the Westfjords
